PROMOTING DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION IN EDUCATIONAL SETTINGS: A MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH OF NEP 2020

Abstract

The role of the learner remains central to the teaching-learning process. Nowadays, all educational policies are student-centred. At present, multidisciplinary approach is being adopted in place of the teacher's traditional approach. The multidisciplinary approach of the recently released New Education Policy 2020 has been added to this research paper, and focus has been given on the digital transformation in the field of education. This will allow for new improvements in the field of education and a new revolution in teaching-learning through the use of new techniques, thereby promoting the holistic development of the child, including their emotional, physical, social, spiritual, and moral growth. Additionally, the role of digital transformation in educational settings is the main focus of this paper. It is vital that educational institutions support students' digital transformation. The objective of this study is to identify the need of digital transformation in educational settings and in teaching learning process. Qualitative approach is followed in this study. Moreover, this study examined previous research in the field of digital transformation, and this paper offers a thorough analysis of current state of the digital transformation of education system.
