Abstract
This article examines the emerging voice of the Global South, focusing on India's pivotal role in amplifying this collective narrative. As countries in the Global South seek greater representation in global governance, India has positioned itself as a leader through various platforms and initiatives. The study analyses India's involvement in South-South cooperation, which promotes mutual support and collaboration among developing nations, and its active participation in the G20, where it advocates for equitable policies addressing issues such as climate change, economic inequality, and sustainable development.
The article highlights the significance of the Voice of the Global South Summit, where India has played a key role in uniting diverse voices and perspectives from across the region. Additionally, it explores India's engagement with the G77 and its partnerships with China and other developing nations, emphasizing the importance of solidarity in addressing shared challenges. By investigating India's diplomatic strategies, grassroots movements, and historical context, the paper underscores how the country is working to challenge dominant narratives and advocate for the interests of the Global South.
Ultimately, this analysis illustrates the critical need for inclusive dialogue in shaping a more equitable global order, positioning India as a vital contributor to the collective voice of the Global South in contemporary international relations.
