Abstract
India’s role in the Global South highlights opportunities to enhance economic, technological, and diplomatic ties with developing nations. This paper explores India’s historical leadership, untapped trade potential in sectors like pharmaceuticals and IT, and advancements in renewable energy and digital platforms. Initiatives such as the International Solar Alliance and inclusive e-commerce models showcase India’s ability to foster sustainable development. While challenges like infrastructure gaps and geopolitical tensions persist, strategic investments and enhanced partnerships can position India as a leader in driving equitable growth and global collaboration.
