Abstract
India’s leadership aspirations in the Global South have gained momentum as the country positions itself as a bridge between developing and developed nations. This paper examines the opportunities and challenges India faces in solidifying its role in the Global South. It explores the historical, economic, political, and cultural factors shaping this dynamic and highlights India’s potential to champion the interests of the Global South while navigating the complex realities of global geopolitics.
