IMPACT OF ONLINE SHOPPING ON OFFLINE SHOPPING: A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY

Abstract

The emergence and rapid expansion of online shopping platforms have revolutionized consumer purchasing behavior across the globe. This study investigates the impact of online shopping on offline retail stores, focusing on consumer preferences, purchasing patterns, and the subsequent implications for traditional retailers. Using a mixed-method approach, the study incorporates primary data from surveys and a hypothesis test to validate the shift in consumer behavior. The research concludes with strategic suggestions for offline retailers to adapt to the digital era.
