INFLUENCE OF MOTIVATION ON LEARNING OUTCOMES: A PSYCHOLOGICAL STUDY AMONG ADOLESCENT LEARNERS

Abstract
This study explores the influence of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation on the learning outcomes of adolescent learners. It examines how motivation affects students’ effort, persistence, and goal attainment in educational contexts. Data is collected using a structured questionnaire administered to students from various schools. Statistical analysis is conducted to determine the relationship between motivation levels and academic success. The results are expected to indicate that intrinsically motivated students achieve better academic outcomes compared to those driven primarily by external rewards. The study highlights the crucial role of teachers and parents in nurturing motivation. It also emphasizes the importance of creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. The findings contribute to the development of effective teaching strategies aimed at enhancing student motivation.
