Abstract
Optimum is similar to approximation. Optimum tends to accuracy. Calculus is a branch of mathematics. In calculus it is assumed that limit tends to zero, limit tends to infinity, limit tends to 2, etc. The optimum value is obtained from trial and error method the best method in any scientific investigation for its thoroughness. As such it is superior to approximation.
