SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES IN MICRO-LEVEL BUSINESSES

Abstract
Sustainable business practices are essential for ensuring long-term economic viability, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship. This article explores sustainable practices within micro-level businesses, which are defined as enterprises with fewer than ten employees. These businesses serve as the backbone of many economies and play a crucial role in promoting sustainability at the grassroots level. The article establishes the importance of sustainable practices, reviews common strategies used by micro-level businesses, and provides recommendations for enhanced implementation. Finally, the paper emphasizes the need for a collaborative approach among government, communities, and micro-entrepreneurs to effectively foster a culture of sustainability.
