THE DIGITAL REVOLUTION IN HRM: A FOCUS ON MSMES IN RAJASTHAN

Abstract
The digital revolution has transformed human resource management (HRM) practices across organizations, and its impact on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) has been particularly profound. This review article explores the influence of digital HRM tools on MSMEs in Rajasthan, a region with a growing MSME sector. The adoption of digital solutions in HRM, such as cloud-based systems, recruitment platforms, and performance management tools, has enabled these small businesses to overcome operational inefficiencies, improve employee engagement, and make data-driven decisions. However, challenges such as limited financial resources, digital illiteracy, and resistance to change persist. This paper reviews relevant literature to examine how digital HR tools are being integrated into MSMEs in Rajasthan, the barriers faced, and the potential for future development. The paper concludes by offering suggestions on how MSMEs in Rajasthan can better harness digital HRM solutions to remain competitive in a fast-evolving digital landscape.
