WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKING: A STUDY

DR. JAI PRAKASH

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Networking (WSN) represents a cutting-edge technology that enables the integration of small, battery-powered sensors into a wide range of environments for monitoring and data collection. This research paper explores the foundational concepts, architecture, and applications of WSNs, along with the technical challenges and future directions. Wireless sensor networks have been instrumental in applications ranging from environmental monitoring and healthcare to industrial automation and smart cities. The paper delves into the protocols and algorithms essential for sensor network operation, including data aggregation, routing, and power management. Additionally, the paper discusses the security concerns and potential solutions within WSNs, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
