SCHOOL STUDENTS' HOME ENVIRONMENTS: AN OVERVIEW
DR.PRAKASH ORAON
Abstract
The parents have a significant impact on the early learning contexts that their children are exposed to, including the environment that they are in at home. There is a strong correlation between the surroundings of a kid's family and the growth of that youngster. It is possible to consider the home of a kid to be an atmosphere that is favorable to learning in a way that is less formal and more casual. The residences of pupils attending secondary schools in Ranchi city were the major place of focus for the inquiry that was conducted for this study. When pupils are at home, there will be very little gender segregation in the classroom for them to experience. For the purpose of the research, a descriptive survey is used to collect the necessary data. Over one hundred and twenty high school students from a variety of schools throughout Ranchi city participated in the research. The number of male and female students that were there was comparable to one another among the attendees. All of the measurements, including the t-ratio, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, have been done. Taking into account the aims and hypotheses of the research, each and every piece of information has been carefully examined and analyzed. The family life of the pupils did not display any discernible distinctions between the sexes with reference to the numerous subjects that were discussed. It is important to note that the results of the study have substantial implications for professionals working in the fields of counseling, education, and parenting. According to the findings of the study, parents have a substantial capacity to influence the growth and development of their children. The advice it provides is quite helpful in developing an atmosphere that is encouraging and conducive to their development.
