SCOPE OF PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPY AND ANALYTICAL RESEARCH AND STUDY

Abstract
Clinical psychology is a subfield of psychology that deals with the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental illness and emotional difficulties. Clinical psychologists use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and humanistic therapy, to help individuals overcome their psychological problems.
Psychology is dominated by clinical psychology. In the U.S.A., there are 26.4 psychologists and 10.5 psychiatrists per 100,000 people (2004). Where there is a person, there is a problem. Where there is a problem, there is a need for counseling or treatment, and where there is a need for treatment or therapy, there is clinical psychology. In our country, where 330 million people are illiterate. (2005) of whom 50 percent are women. Where the medical attitude is not cultivated, there is an urgent need for medical psychology.
Psychology has also been very popular in the United States for many years. Psychology ranks first in the rankings (National Center for Education Statistics, 1991). At the end of 1980, more than 45,000 graduates were awarded bachelor's degrees with a major in psychology. This has increased by 5 percent each year since 1985. According to figures obtained in 1988, more degrees were awarded with a major in psychology than with a major in chemistry, physics, foreign language, sociology, or geology. In 1980, 3,000 or more students were awarded a doctorate in psychology. It had a large student body in clinical psychology (Stapp, Fuleher Wickerski, 1981). In 2005, the number of graduates in cognitive-behavioral therapy rose to 68.9 percent.
